"We could put ourselves in her shoes because of her description. She made us feel like we mattered."

Thank you for sharing with us the history and life of Trudie Strobel. I was amazed when I saw her art and was inspired by her struggles in life. I’ll try to visit the exhibit after the pandemic.

I had the honor of hearing your testament to the Holocaust and seeing photographs of your breathtaking tapestries this morning. I want to thank you for having the courage to tell your story and ensure this painful history is never forgotten.

"Thank you for teaching and showing us stuff about the past that we didn’t learn about yet and persevered and did it in the form of a zoom meeting."

It's so amazing how Maya decided to share Trudie's tapestries in an exhibition to encourage others to resist intolerance and learn about how to prevent things like the Holocaust from happening again.
